Due to the location of the site, and the client’s wish to provide engineering services which are as environmentally friendly as possible, an assessment of heating options were carried out. This assessment included options such as biomass boilers and the use of ground source heat pumps. It was decided that ground source heat pumps would provide the optimum solution.
